As essential providers, we recognized that many of you were in need of continued or new care in spite of the current public health crisis. Therefore, we have re-opened our doors, but with strict policies to keep all of our patients, clients, clinicians, and staff safe and healthy.
For the foreseeable future, we will only have one clinician seeing one patient at a time in the space. Our waiting area will be outside when weather allows. We will all be wearing masks, and ask our patients to please do the same. Gloves are available to anyone who wishes to wear them. Whenever possible, we will employ safe physical distancing guidelines.
All surfaces and equipment will be cleaned with a germ- and virucide disinfectant after each use, and staff will wash their hands according to CDC guidelines after each patient encounter, if not more often.
PT research backs manual therapy and skilled exercise prescription and progression as the most effective treatments for most conditions.
Our therapists have specialized training in both of these approaches, and have taught them to graduate DPT students.
These interventions are accomplished best when the physical therapist is working with one patient at a time.
At Preservation Physical Therapy and Wellness, we will not double book you with another patient and will give you our undivided attention.
Hand, wrist or elbow pain or injury? Difficulty with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, or grooming? If so, you would benefit from Occupational Therapy.
Come in for a one-visit Physical Therapy check-up (like your annual MD physical or dental exam) and we can get you on the right track!
We will assess your balance, strength, flexibility, endurance and function, and make individualized recommendations based on your unique goals.
At Preservation Physical Therapy and Wellness we are all about prevention! We want to see you stay strong and safe with good balance.
While we are happy to help you get back to your life quickly after an illness or injury, we want to keep you healthy using the same knowledge and training that we use during rehabilitation.
We've created a one-stop shop for your continued wellness!
Try yoga, balance and core, or strength training exercise classes, or do one of each every week!
We also provide personal training in private and group settings.
